He started his career with an international accounting firm in Kuala Lumpur in 1999 and he has more than 15 years of working experience in audit and assurance services.
During that period, he was directly responsible for the audits of public listed companies and multinational companies in various industries.
He was also involved in Reporting Accountants’ engagement on initial public offering, fund raising exercise, due diligence and other related services on merger and acquisition. He also had working experience in an international accounting firm in Singapore.
He is currently heading the audit and assurance division of ETH Consulting Group as a Managing Partner.

Relevant Experience

He has more than 15 years of tax experience and he was with 2 international accounting firms as a Managing Consultant prior to joining ETH as Executive Director.
Involvement in tax audit and investigation carry out by the tax authorities.
Assisted companies with the implementation of goods and service tax (GST) and GST advisory work for manufacturing services, oil and gas, MRO, property development, etc.
Assisted companies to undertake GST health checks, compliance reviews and preparation of GST returns for post implementation.
Involved in servicing multinational clients as well as local conglomerates on areas including corporate tax and RPGT advisory and application of relevant tax incentives.
Dealing with the Inland Revenue Board, Royal Malaysian Custom Department and other related agencies on the contentious tax issues faced by companies.

During that period, he was directly responsible for the audits of public listed companies and multinational company in various industries. He was involved in Reporting Accountants' engagement on initial public offering, fund raising exercise, due diligence and other related services on merger and acquisition.
He is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He is an Approved Company Auditor.

Relevant Experience / Qualifications

Prior to joining ETH as Director, she was a former officer from Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) and her final post in IRBM was Principle Assistant Director.
She is a reputable and well regarded tax practitioner in industry with a long and celebrated civil service career with the IRBM.
She has more than 38 years of experience in the field of taxation and her experience is extremely wide and varied, including heading numerous tax investigation as Investigate Officer in tracking tax defaulters/evaders (Individuals and Companies). Currently, she is also a Trainer in Tax Field Audit for IRBM since 2004.
She was also a resource person in the Malaysian Corporation Technical Program to help Third World Countries to improve their Tax administration, e.g. Tax Enforcement Course and General Tax Administration Course and Tax Audit for CLMV Countries (Jica Program).
Leow Chin is an Associate member of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA), a Fellow member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM) and an Approved Tax Agent.
